[ Event Summary ]
We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of our MedTech Public Event held on May 31, 2023. Designed for the Chinese audience in the medical devices industry, the event brought together European MedTech experts who shared their insights on a broad range of topics, including medical devices innovation, product launch, market research and internationalization.
For this public event, we have attracted nearly 300 registered participants, among which 56% are medtech companies, 28% are financial investors, 11% are third-party service providers and 5% are other related stakeholders who showed interest in our topics. Through sharing the live studio by registered participants, we have attracted more than 1000 audience in China watching our live stream.
A big thank you to all our speakers and attendees for making this event a success. Dedicated to being the bridge between European and Chinese HealthTech industry, we hope to create more opportunities for communication and collaboration between the stakeholders on both sides.

Marta Gehring – Planning EU market entry: Market research considerations – Experience sharing from European medtech expert Swiss marketing expert, Marta Gehring shared her experience on planning EU market entry, offering a roadmap for companies aiming to penetrate the European market.
Erik Vollebregt – KEYNOTE: The latest regulatory updates on EU MDR – insights from European MDR expert The keynote speech of our event was held by Erik Vollebregt, medical device regulatory expert at EU and national level. Erik Vollebregt delivered the latest regulatory updates on EU MDR, a topic of great relevance in the evolving regulatory landscape and pointed out some of the essential issues specific for Chinese manufactures.
Michael Alper – Overseas cooperation and M&A as a viable path for companies to enter foreign markets – Experience sharing on acquisition of phenox by Wallaby (in CN with EN subtitle) Finally, Michael Alper, founder and president of WallabyPhenox, who impressively delivered his talk in fluent Chinese, discussed the importance of product quality, innovation, mutual trust in international partnerships etc. He pointed out that overseas cooperation and M&A is a viable path for companies to enter foreign markets, sharing his experience on the acquisition of phenox by Wallaby.
